Gulf Wildlife Rescue Unit Gulf Wildlife Rescue Unit is devised of local United States Coast Guard Approved Captains that have the ability to increase the rescue efforts by their local knowledge of water ways. These Captains have worked with scientist worldwide for many years on a variety of specie studies and now want to help in the BP oil spill with all wildlife rescue efforts. GWRU believes that we the fisherman should be 100% involved in nursing our ecosystem back to health. Many of the Captain's with GWRU have Environmental and Marine Biology Degrees and will assist in overseeing entire Captain's fleet in rescue efforts. To contact the Gulf Wildlife Rescue Unit please call (504) 710-2950 or email gulfproductions@aol.com
